October 22, 2020. OTTAWA, ON. The Ukrainian Canadian Congress (UCC) National Ukrainian Education Council is pleased to announce that the 2021 Online National Conference for Ukrainian Educators will be held May 2, 2021.
Due to the ongoing covid-19 pandemic, the Conference will be held online. The theme of this year’s Conference is “Ukrainian Education in Canada: New Reality.”
“Educators, parents and our students have responded to the challenges brought on by the pandemic with inspiring determination and grace in often difficult circumstances,” stated Tatiana Sunak, Chair of the UCC Ukrainian Education Council. “This Conference will be an excellent opportunity for us to share lessons learned and best practices and develop plans for the future of Ukrainian education across Canada.”
The focus of this year’s conference will be to provide educators with the opportunity to learn about current teaching approaches and resources in the areas of technology, media, the arts, history, traditions and distance education instructions for students from kindergarten to high school.
